Visit Fotografiska New York
Welcome!
We are thrilled to welcome you to the museum now that we’re open and we’re all ready for your safe visit.
The Museum is the NYC location of the renowned Stockholm-based destination for the world’s best photography. Founded in 2010, brothers Jan and Per Broman built the concept of Fotografiska on the foundation of photography as a haven for innovation, inclusivity and free expression.
Our goal is to inspire a more conscious world through the art of photography. We showcase the greatest photographers, whether they’re emerging artists or already established internationally.
The building is a registered landmark built in 1894 and originally named “The Church Mission Building”. We’ve renovated this iconic jewel so that you can experience a dynamic mix of world-class art, cultural events and retail alongside epicurean dining created by the award-winning STARR Restaurants and design studio Roman and Williams.
